Day 047

Dear dreamer,
Moving from phase to phase

This is hard but it's the simplest thing when it happens at the right time. Things progress in stages and gradually, you can not skip any step. Don't even attempt to jump prematurely. One line from one of my favourite songs is 'Don't give up on your future, we all start losers' That captures everything I felt. Your dreams will feel like a dream, close to delusion in fact. Imagination, pure imagination with nothing but faith to back it up. No one really made it or fit in at once. They all acted it till it became real and that's what you should do too. Don't be afraid of feeling odd and going ahead still. We all do but we keep it under covers. We fake it till we make it. 

At first, we would not be able to make sense of it but we will take tiny steps every now and then, move from one phase to another. There will be a lot of learning, relearning and unlearning. We'll change too with the process. Perspectives might get caught in all of it. You might change the scope of your goal as time goes on but all of it has to happen at the right time for it to be bearable. 

I am moving from phase to phase. I started from just a hunger for something worthwhile till I found one. How to go about it? I had no idea but I took step after step and it has brought me exactly where I am. Right now, I am in another phase that will soon be over and I don't even know what it is going to look like. I just embrace the process. 

Don't forget, we all start losers, some win others don't but we have this one chance either way. One day, it will be real and we'll become it. We won't be faking it then. Phase after phase, we move.

Day 002

Dear dreamer,  Questions...lots of questions Lethargy...I could literally feel it like a gentle caress lulling me back to comfort-very deceptively destructive state. I started the long, arduous process of shaking it off simply because I have this one chance to live my dreams and I won't screw it up as far as it is up to me.  I started the day wondering if my ideas were good. There were a lot of questions;  Can I pull it off?  I might need help so I called out to my close confidant. I read about something called a kitchen cabinet- it is a couple of people that are literally your guide rails. They keep you accountable, you can ask them questions about anything. Well, they are supposed to be comforting enough yet honest to call you up on your faults without mincing words. I started building mine then so I reached out to the one who I can say is the chief of my cabinet. Day 004

  Dear dreamer,  Life Of A Penniless Dreamer I don't know about others but being idle makes me so uncomfortable. Like, I must always be doing something valuable, meaningful, something that is felt but, as it was, I was just waking up in the past few days to nothing but absolute emptiness. Of course, I did some mundane chore but it moved nothing so I was dissatisfied and wondering what exactly I could do- something effortless enough but impactful. Not like I did not have things to do, in fact I had deadlines to meet but I was in low spirits so I had no motivation nor intention and I have learnt to not force some things. Quality dwindles. Poor quality with so much effort. There is something I do from time to time, no fixed time frame but I just organise it as it feels. It's a self-reflection exercise.
