Day 027

 Dear dreamer,

Working my way...

First, I was actually getting into this writing thing. It was beginning to feel more natural than forced and I was writing more smoothly than previously. That's a win I guess. In 3 days, it would be 30 days since I started this journey. Maybe I will do a recap, maybe not.

Back to the actual business of today, the plan was to get back to commitment- gradual process. If anything had contributed to this, it would be my haphazard way of working. Usually, I am a big planning freak, this does not mean I am rigid. It's just that, a plan is my way of ensuring that everything gets done. If you give me seven days to do a task, I will probably spend 5 days planning what to do but recently, having a lot on my plate has ruined everything called planning or strategy. I was basically jumping from one task to another plus I had a social event that needed my attention so it was terrible. First things first, I wanted to create a priority list. I started with a list of all the things I had to do. It was about 15...what? Why would I take on so many tasks at once so I first cut it down to 10. Next, was to know precisely what I had to do to complete each task. That's exactly was I was busy doing while trying to combine similar things together so I could avoid duplication.

Next up is a plan- one that actually implemented strategies in the process flow. Planning is an integral part of our lives. Life is usually out of control. Our best shot at keeping it together is a plan. If you do not have a plan, how would you ever get anything done. It's better to spend more time figuring out the plan than to jump right away without a plan. However, this does not mean that you should not start until you have all the answers. A plan does not necessarily have to contain all the answers. You are allowed to fix in placeholders where it's needed. Have a plan, else your life will spiral out of control faster than you can say 'What'

I made the final change to product 1 and there are few days left before I would have to give it up. I hoped it would not get to that. No pennies yet...I am almost tired, in fact I am but I have this one chance to live this dreams so why not?
