Day 022

Dear dreamer,

The Best Bet

 Yeah! Everyday in our lives, we place bets, sometimes randomly, other times not. The biggest example is not knowing if we'll be awake or alive in the next moment and still choosing to make arrangements for that moment. I have never known a more audacious bet. We make choices everyday that represents our bet because nothing is really certain. 

I have been involved in a number of different trades, learnt so many things in the course of my life at different times, given a lot of things trial and recently I was wondering what that was. Is it just a lack of gravity and will to stay grounded or it was a laziness issue, it can not be laziness because it's harder work at the end of the day. I have been in different fields at a frequency that almost seems insane and it is against one of my sole principles; one at a time...

Life moves on too fast, at a dizzying space in fact. If you don't learn to exist in dynamism, you will be left behind but you also need to learn to stay grounded for as long as required, time is the paying factor. If only you can wait till it's ready to pay you but we must keep taking bets and cover as much ground as possible because time is our most limited resource. This is my best bet. Maybe I am wrong but we must learn everything we can. I read something a while ago, prepare for opportunities, don't react to them and that's exactly why you stay restless. Stay on one thing at a time, you need to focus but from experience, it can lead to various other things so know when you have to move to something else. It's a long journey you might have to jump on to other unplanned trains, do it passionately. 

So, maybe I am right or wrong for getting into other alternatives, it does not matter since I have good reason to be doing all of it. However, I was not really invested in the other ideas at least not in the way I usually am. It would take a while to be off from this other 2 products so I can completely immerse in the others. After all, I only get this one chance to do this, I can not waste it.

Day 002

Dear dreamer,  Questions...lots of questions Lethargy...I could literally feel it like a gentle caress lulling me back to comfort-very deceptively destructive state. I started the long, arduous process of shaking it off simply because I have this one chance to live my dreams and I won't screw it up as far as it is up to me.  I started the day wondering if my ideas were good. There were a lot of questions;  Can I pull it off?  I might need help so I called out to my close confidant. I read about something called a kitchen cabinet- it is a couple of people that are literally your guide rails. They keep you accountable, you can ask them questions about anything. Well, they are supposed to be comforting enough yet honest to call you up on your faults without mincing words. I started building mine then so I reached out to the one who I can say is the chief of my cabinet. Day 004

  Dear dreamer,  Life Of A Penniless Dreamer I don't know about others but being idle makes me so uncomfortable. Like, I must always be doing something valuable, meaningful, something that is felt but, as it was, I was just waking up in the past few days to nothing but absolute emptiness. Of course, I did some mundane chore but it moved nothing so I was dissatisfied and wondering what exactly I could do- something effortless enough but impactful. Not like I did not have things to do, in fact I had deadlines to meet but I was in low spirits so I had no motivation nor intention and I have learnt to not force some things. Quality dwindles. Poor quality with so much effort. There is something I do from time to time, no fixed time frame but I just organise it as it feels. It's a self-reflection exercise.
