Day 009
Dear dreamer,
The Unexpected
It started with an unplanned trip. I had to leave my house for the second time in 9 days- not my favourite thing to do but I knew I had to go to my dad's office and from there, we were taking a short trip out of the state. I was in the office writing the most random things from my head (I woke up with something chanting in my head- 'feelings are hard'). We were waiting for a visitor.
First, I had to chant what I studied in the university to a group of people time and time again (not my favourite thing to do) then, I was shown an engineering problem and I was still trying to figure out the solution when the call came in that the visitor had arrived- you could literally see the relief on my face. The visitor was definitely full of surprises. He brought a contract for a project I have always wanted to do but it's capital-intensive (I'm penniless...remember?) and it took every bit of self-control for me to not burst into the conversation after all, you only get such opportunity once but I bid my time. He also offered me a job. Now, that was very tempting since I was looking for money.
However, the job was one that will definitely take up all of my time and I was definitely not looking forward to that. I am a stout believer that any job that takes up your time has to be your dream because if it's not, then it's a worthless adventure. If your dream job is one that pays you whatever figures you think would make you happy, suit yourself but, just a personal advice- don't let your dream be about how much money, let it be worth more than gold. The money is very important too but let it not be the most-binding.
Also, I very much believe there's always a way- so I was trying to see how everybody wins- at least, let it look like everybody wins. I was trying to see how I could take this offer, adjust it so it is bearable for me. I needed the money and it was a good start...I was just lost in thoughts the entire day. In the midst of it all, nothing baffled me more than the fact that I never saw all of it coming, in fact I wouldn't have guessed how the day would go...
Every day is a new chance, a fresh start, another opportunity, another challenge, another time to make right and wrong choices and you should treat it as such. Embrace each day with the mindset that it has something special for you and this will help you to live more meaningful days. I wake up and I say- let's go do something remarkable again. Life will come with a different situation, challenge, circumstance and the addition of everything will sum up to be our lives. So, nobody really has a say on how you live it. The way you choose to live it is your answer and not for anybody else to judge. Nobody else will get the same life you get so don't let them tell how to go about your life- they have not and will never experience it.
Here I was- having to make a choice or none at all...
The pennies will roll in soon enough...product 1 was definitely going to the market.
