Day 006

 Dear dreamer,

Setting up

Glimpses of hope filtered through my window, along with the early sun rays- at least I felt that way. Clarity has its way of bringing peace and revival to chaos. It was almost as if I was completely invigorated but I knew myself too well. To the business of the day, I had a few jobs to do- mundane advertisement tasks and I got to work and was done in no time. Simple jobs can make you seem invincible. I was definitely not in the most productive state but I was getting a few things done since I knew exactly what I had to do. I even wrote the very first part of this blog.

As for work, there were a couple things to do as it will most likely be throughout this development stage. The product had a lot of operations to undergo and it's smart to not do it alone even if you can pull it off. I needed a team. Now, I am not the biggest fan of team work, in fact, you can say I sort of dread it. Of course, there are reasons. Most compelling is that, it ties down a problem to a group of people whose actions pull or drag the entire team. It's like having a lot of dependencies.

While that may be true, you'll have to admit that to build the best structures, products, anything you can think of requires team work. Building thrives in teams- good teams though. Team work requires trust and unity and that is a major thing that determines the success of every team. You should now understand why building a team might seem like hard work...in fact, it is hard work. Trust and unity is not one of the easiest things to find. I mean, take a look at our communities, what do you see?

So, one more task- build the team and I am definitely going to take my time because I don't build failing structures and I am not about to start now. However, that is not all.

One other thing; Knowledge is Power- another of my favourites. There's nothing that is more catalytic to focus than learning something new that helps everyday. The power in learning is easily underestimated. Learning is knowing new things, seeing new perspectives and most powerful, finding applications for them in your life. You learn consistency and practise it by showing up every time you are tired. There are a number of ways to learn. I learn best by reading. Others, hearing and some others learn by seeing. Find out how you learn best and learn new things as frequently as possible. I always have a collection of books and I have been slacking off for a while. I need motivation to live this dreams since this is the only chance I get to do so.

Court knowledge, you can never get weary of her walls- it's profitable. Besides, she is everything you will ever need to get by. Here I am, finishing my most recent read- The One Thing by Gary Keller- good read by the way.

Lest I forget, progress but no penny made...it will be worth it...I guess.
